With avocados, tomatoes, and jalapenos all ripe, it must be time for fresh guacamole.  Here’s the recipe that my family loves:

2 ripe avocados, peeled and mashed
juice of 1/2 lime or lemon
1/2 c onion, chopped
1/2 c tomato, seeded & chopped
1/4 tsp salt
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 jalapeno, seeded & chopped

Combine all ingredients.  Refrigerate overnight for best flavor.
