For today….December 1, 2008

Outside my window…dark, blustery morning.

I am thinking…that it is already December.  This year has flown by so quickly!

I am thankful for…our wonderful Thanksgiving visit with family, travel mercies and feeling refreshed after a lazy Sunday.

From the school room…back to studies after a week off.  Catching up with record keeping duties.

From the kitchen…homebaked French bread topped with delicious bruschetta & mozzerella cheese for lunch.  Yumms!  (Thanks, Judy!)

I am creating…new office space for me to organize my computer and Bible study notes.  Rearranging and clearing out old toys for updated play area for the family.

I am reading…the Gospel of Mark, specifically the parable of the vineyard owner.  Lots to learn in that one!

I am hoping…to accomplish many tasks today, especially the ones my husband requested.  Need to start a list…..

Around the house…suitcases to be unpacked, lots of dust bunnies and other general untidiness from a week away from home.

A few plans for the week…laundry, grocery shopping, clearing out for new office & play area, ordering Christmas gifts.

Scripture on which to meditate today…The angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favor with God.  And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus.  He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His Father David; and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end.”  (Luke 1:30-33)
